Legacy Equipment Connectivity Checker
Five questions about one machine — what controls it, what it is physically wired to, whose permission you need, what you want out of it, and whether it can ever stop. It returns every viable route with a cost band and a named risk against each, including the case where the machine has no digital interface at all and data has to be created rather than read.

What controls it
UNIT 01If the panel has not been opened recently, answer from what is known rather than what is hoped. An honest 'nobody is certain' produces a more useful result than a guess.
What it is wired to
UNIT 02Select everything that is physically present. Most machines have more than one, and the cheap route is frequently the one nobody thought to look for.
Whose permission you need
UNIT 03This is a commercial question more often than a technical one, and it rules more routes in and out than anything else on the page.
What you need from it
UNIT 04Reading a machine and controlling one are different projects with different reviews. The tool treats them that way.
What downtime you can get
UNIT 05Anything wired inside a panel needs the machine isolated. Routes that need an installation window are marked as such in the result.
